Getting Religion – Challenging Religious Illiteracy in a Time of Global Uncertainty

The Getting Religion seminar will be hosted by Open University in collaboration with the Centre for Theology and Public Issues and the Religion and Ethics in the Making of War and Peace Project in the School of Divinity at the University of Edinburgh. It is part of a series of events in a consultation funded by the Partnership entitled ‘Religion, Martyrdom and Global Uncertainties’, which examined the role of religion in current conflicts and violence. The seminar will include the public launch of the final report and recommendations, which are available to download under Related Files below. It is intended to highlight key conclusions from the report and consider their application to Scotland.
