Position Available — Communications Coordinator
The Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP) and the Partnership for Conflict, Crime Security Research (PaCCS) are seeking a Communications Coordinator to provide communications support and advice that will help raise the profile of both PaCCS and CSaP and promote research that has the potential to impact on policy making. The role holder will work with the CSaP Head of Programmes and the PaCCS External Champion to create engaging content for internal and external audiences, manage both websites and social media channels, and produce e-newsletters. In addition, the role holder will be responsible for helping to promote and deliver high profile events.
You will be educated to bachelors degree level or an equivalent qualification. You will have experience of a broad range of communications disciplines e.g. media, reputation management and stakeholder liaison. To be successful in this role you will have experience communicating complex information to a diverse audience. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to organise public engagement events are prerequisites for this role.
