The Inaugural CCARHT Annual Thomas Clarkson Lecture: Modern Slavery review

Ambassador Louis C de Baca, Caroline Haughey QC,  and Dr Simon Stockley will speak at this inaugural annual lecture which “seeks to bring some pointers, some greater clarity, some disruption of “the order and quietude of everyday life (to) be violently disrupted by the chaos of the needy dead; (so) that the herculean effort to forget (may) —– be threatened by memory desperate to stay alive.””

The event is hosted by CCARHT, whose work is dedicated to facilitating a deeper understanding of the dynamics of contemporary ‘enslavement’ and human trafficking, and contemporary chattelage.
