Italian organised crime, specifically the domestic and international activities of the ‘Ndrangheta (the wealthiest and most powerful mafia), including environmental crime. Representations of organised crime in the media.

Research expertise on representations of organised crime. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the ‘Ndrangheta; strong links with anti-‘Ndrangheta organisations operating in Calabria, the organisation’s native region.
