Research Associate Position: Hidden Narratives of Transnational Organised Crime in West Africa

Researchers at the University of Bristol are seeking candidates for a postdoctoral research associate position to join an international team working from the Universities of Bristol, Ottawa and IFRA-Nigeria on the Hidden Narratives of Transnational Organised Crime in West Africa project. This project is part of the PaCCS and ESRC program on Transnational Organised Crime: Deepening and Broadening Our Understanding. 

The successful candidate will have research experience on drugs and/or migration and related policy, and will have responsibilities including: co-organising a research workshop in Bristol, as well as other knowledge exchange events; disseminating project findings; co-author a policy paper and other related outputs; contribute to the drafting of a funding proposal; and conduct some online research on drugs and migration and related policy in West Africa.

This is a fixed term role running until 31 December 2021 (latest start date 01 March 2021 at 0.5fte as advertised)  A higher .fte over shorter duration will be considered on request.
