Research Fellow in Cyber Security for the Distributed Digital Economy

The University of Surrey’s Department of Computer Science is seeking candidates for a full-time research position based at the Surrey Centre for Cyber Security.

The successful candidate will be based in the multidisciplinary and collaborative EPSRC DE Centre in the Decentralised Digital Economy, and will be expected to work on cyber security for Decentralisation in the Digital Economy, including the human focused aspects of cyber security.  

The successful candidate will work under the direction of Professor Steve Schneider. Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant subject or equivalent professional experience, and should have skills in software engineering for web applications, and an understanding of cyber security. Knowledge of Distributed Ledger Technologies.

The post is available for 24 months to start after October 1st 2020.
