Research Opportunity in the Illegal Wildlife Trade

The Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Sheffield is seeking candidates for a Research Associate working on the ESRC funded project BEaStly Business: Examining the Illegal Trade in Bears, Eels and Songbirds. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professors Rosaleen Duffy and Charlotte Burns, and will focus their work on the trade of European eels. The successful candidate will have completed or be near to completing a PhD in Politics and International Relations or cognate disciplines including sociology, geography, law, criminology, anthropology, cultural studies or literature.
