Security and Policing 2020 video poster competition for early career researchers

The Joint Security and Resilience Centre (JSaRC), Academic RiSC and the Home Office Science Advisory Council (HOSAC) are providing an opportunity for PhD and early career researchers, to demonstrate their research that relates to any aspect of national security using a video poster in the form of a PowerPoint slideshow. The chosen video posters will be played on a screen on the Academic RiSC stand (B92) at Security and Policing 2020. Prizes (sponsored by ADS) of £350 and £150 will be awarded for the winner and runner up respectively, as well as OSCT certificates of excellence.

Security & Policing 2020 is an event that presents an ideal setting for academics to demonstrate the potential impact of their research to key players in the national security sector, including senior officials from many different government departments and important private sector players.

Call for papers is now open for submissions, the closing date is 14 February 2020. You can download the full details and requirements here.

Please contact the Academic RiSC team if you have any questions about the video poster competition.
